Kalpana Raghuraman is an internationally acclaimed performer, choreographer, dance mentor, published author and scholar. She is also a desired life coach working with the modality called Access Consciousness. Kalpana travels the globe creating change and consciousness through her art and facilitation. People from different backgrounds and cultures feel attracted to her energy which allows her to work in all continents - from New Caledonia to Mexico, from India to Poland. She beautifully blends together her capacities as an artist with her awareness and talents as a trainer. 

She is also the artistic director of her own dance company Kalpanarts. With Kalpanarts she is creating contemporary dance performances using Indian rich sources of inspiration (philosophy, architecture, music and dance) and combining them with western dance and music genres. Her work is always socially relevant and speaks about todays world and especially appeals to diasporic communities - mainly the Indian one.
As a second generation immigrant born to South Indian parents, Kalpana is a pioneer with her work for Kalpanarts.
